Cranberry-Raspberry Jellies

Deliciously addictive, these simple fruit candies have an intense cranberry-raspberry flavor and a consistency vaguely reminiscent of soft gumdrops. The individual candies are normally rolled in granulated sugar, but for a different, frosted look and smooth consistency, you can roll them in sifted powdered sugar instead.
INGREDIENTS
Deliciously addictive, these simple fruit candies have an intense cranberry-raspberry flavor and a consistency vaguely reminiscent of soft gumdrops. - 2 cups thawed cranberry juice cocktail concentrate, divided
- 4 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin, (about 6 packets)
- 2 2/3 cups raspberries, fresh or frozen, thawed
- 2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen, thawed
- 2 teaspoons freshly grated lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 cups granulated sugar, plus about 2/3 cup for dusting

10 Easy Tips for Safe and Effective Weight Loss
1. Exercise! get your heart rate up at least 5-7 days a week for 30-60 minutes. Short on time? Try 10 Minute Trainer.
2. Add strength training to your workout. By working out with weights regularly, you increase your lean muscle mass, and lean muscle burns calories at a much higher rate than fat does. The more lean muscle you have, the more calories you'll burn -- even when you're staying perfectly still.
3. Drink 8-10 glasses (8oz) of water per day.
4. Get plenty of rest. At least 7-8 hours of sleep at night.
5. Keep a food journal to help you keep track of your eating pattern so that suitable changes can be brought in accordingly. I recommend using livestrong.com to log in your meals and WOWY for logging in your workouts.
6. Make your plate look like a rainbow! eat at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies everyday.
7. Instead of eating 3 big meals, try to eat 5 - 6 smaller meals throughout the day. Eating small frequent meals helps to balance your calorie intake throughout the day and to keep your blood sugar level balanced.
8. Eat smaller portions. Check out this guide on portion sizes.

Low Calorie Margaritas
Your biggest caloric enemy in the margarita is the prepackaged margarita mix. There are "light" versions available, but their taste is less than extraordinary. Here's another option that'll cut your calories in half without sacrificing flavor.
Ingredients:
Mix lime juice, water, and stevia together until stevia is dissolved. Add tequila and triple sec, then either pour over ice or put in blender with ice. Add salt to taste. Sip while looking amazing in your swimsuit, pretending you're on a beach in Mexico.
Calories before: 435
Calories now: 180

- 3 oz. water
- 1/2 tsp. stevia (or other no-calorie sugar substitute)
- 2 oz. tequila
- 1.5 oz. triple sec
- Ice
- Salt (to taste)
